Rigid Wrapped Boxes
We make rigid boxes by wrapping a stiff board body with a covering material. Internal layout and lid fit are planned together for lift-off or book-style models; the structure differs from a folding carton.
Applications
- Corporate gift sets
- Jewelry and accessories
- Cosmetic set presentation
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Custom-sized rigid wrapped box
- There is no fixed dimensional limit. For gift sets, arrange the products as they should be presented. This layout's width and length provide the starting dimensions for the inner insert.
- Lid and body
- Separate lids and book-style openings create different presentations. Plan lid-to-body fit with the interior layout.
- Product insert and lid clearance
- Choose internal height from the product's height above its insert. A bottle may sit fully in the base yet have its cap touch the lid. Leave enough side clearance to lift the product with fingers.
- Is a rigid wrapped box printed on its body or its covering?
- A rigid wrapped box uses stiff board as its supporting body and printed covering material for the artwork. Prepare lid and body coverings with corner turns and inward-folding allowances.
- What does a box divider do?
- A divider or insert locates products inside the box and separates them from one another. For 3D printed box dividers and other shaped inserts, assess product fit and finger clearances for removal together.
- Set quantity
- One body, matching lid and insert form one box. If a shared outer box serves different sets, total box quantity is the sum of those sets. Count inserts separately for each layout.
