Screen Printing
Screen printing transfers ink through a prepared mesh onto a product. In Topkapı, Istanbul, it is used for logos, text and special finishes on plastic, metal, wood and glass. Ink selection depends on the material and conditions of use.

Screen printing transfers ink through the open areas of a stencil-bearing mesh. Opaque colour areas and very fine details place different demands on the mesh, ink and substrate. Identifying a surface as plastic, metal or glass is not enough: its coating can change ink adhesion.
PVC vinyl labels require separate checks for print legibility, adhesive bonding and outdoor exposure. Panel labels require alignment between display windows, controls and printed areas. For specialist varnishes and effects, surface contact and cleaning during use matter alongside appearance.
