UV Offset Printing

UV offset printing produces colour graphics and fine text on cards, labels and packaging. On clear PVC boxes, CMYK and white ink are used together.

Clear PVC packaging with full-colour printing

In UV offset printing, the image passes from the plate to a rubber blanket, then onto paper, board or a suitable plastic. UV light cures the ink. On clear PVC boxes, CMYK and white ink can be printed while leaving a clear window to show the product.

Minimum quantity and print area vary by product. The same plate is used when the artwork repeats across cards. If names or codes change on every card, the shared artwork and variable information are planned separately. With direct digital UV printing, the artwork can change from one print to the next because no printing plate is required.
