Packaging Sleeves
A packaging sleeve wraps around a box or container to carry branding, product information and campaign messages. Part of the surface remains exposed; the circumference and join are planned together.
Applications
- Lidded product containers
- Gift boxes
- Promotional product sets
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Unfolded sleeve length
- A sleeve around a rectangular 12 × 5 cm box section covers a total of 34 cm across four sides, before adding a joining allowance. Sleeve width determines how much of the box remains visible.
- Circumference and fit
- Measure the sleeve's circumference on the filled package. Changes in thickness and crease positions affect how it stays in place.
- Join and information
- The join affects where logos and barcodes remain visible. Text orientation is prepared for the sleeve as fitted to the package.
- What is the difference between a packaging sleeve and an adhesive label?
- A packaging sleeve wraps around a box or container. Its join and crease lines follow that construction. Coated paper stickers and other adhesive labels attach directly to the package. Choose according to how much of the product should remain exposed and where the branding should appear.
- How is a packaging sleeve sized?
- Sleeve width determines the area covered, while length follows the package circumference. Measure the filled package and assess folding and joining allowances separately. Check logo and product-detail readability with the sleeve fitted.
