Domed Labels
Domed labels are made by applying clear resin over a printed logo. The shape and corners are planned for the position on the product, with a sample check for curved surfaces.
Applications
- Device badges
- Furniture accessories logos
- Product body emblems
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Logo dimensions for the recess
- For a recessed logo area, measure its narrowest width and height and note the corner shape. If a lid slides over the raised label, check that it clears the resin when closing.
- Logo and outer shape
- Clear resin creates a domed surface over the print. Narrow recesses, corners and fine extensions affect the finished label shape.
- Flat or curved
- The application's curvature determines how the raised label sits on the product. Choose logo orientation and outline with that area in mind.
- What is the difference between a domed label and a cold transfer label?
- A domed label has a raised layer of clear resin over the print. With cold transfer labels, a logo or pattern is transferred from a carrier onto the product. The processes differ, so assess the desired raised effect, graphic details and product surface together.
- Can domed labels be used outdoors?
- A domed appearance alone does not establish outdoor suitability. Resin, base material and adhesive must be assessed for sunlight, moisture, temperature and cleaning products. Check the required resistance on the intended surface under representative conditions.

Before printing
- Printing and cutting
- Prepare logo artwork and the outer cutting line separately. Check fine text and symbols at the finished label size after resin application.
- Contact points on the product
- Describe contact with hands, other parts or outdoor conditions. Position the raised label away from tight curves and friction points.
Domed clear resin refracts light to add depth and gloss to a logo, turning a small branding detail into a distinctive surface on the product.
The resin covers the graphic while adhesive on the back bonds the label to the product. Together, these layers combine a raised appearance with attachment in one construction.
