Glow in the Dark Labels
Glow-in-the-dark labels release absorbed light for a period in darkness. This effect can be used for directional and warning signs. Placement, light exposure and viewing distance matter. Fluorescent colours appear vivid under light and produce a different effect.
Applications
- Hallway direction arrows
- Door warning signs
- Equipment location marks
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Sign dimensions and viewing direction
- Measure the label area. View a full-size paper arrow or symbol from the approach direction. Consider both light exposure and where it must be seen from in darkness.
- Light exposure conditions
- The glow depends on previously absorbed light. Lighting intensity and exposure duration affect how visible the sign remains in darkness.
- Location and appearance
- Sign size, viewing direction and location work together for readability. Assess required visibility performance for the intended application.

Before printing
- Symbol and background
- Send editable, approved arrows and equipment symbols. Check a sample to ensure dense printing does not unnecessarily cover the light-emitting area.
- Matching locations
- Number signs on the placement plan. Match each arrow direction to its door or equipment and give different orientations distinct filenames.
