- A sample placemat size is 28 × 40 cm. For trays, measure the flat base within the raised edges. Test logos and short messages in a corner that stays visible beneath the plate.
- Table layout
- The area occupied by tableware determines message placement. Choose dimensions using the actual table setting.
- Scope of use
- Wet, greasy or direct-food-contact applications have different requirements. Specify these conditions when selecting paper and printing.
- Paper or plastic placemats?

- Place actual-size tableware over the design. Check that logos, messages and any QR code remain visible.
- Print file
- Keep cutting lines separate from the artwork. Add appropriate bleed to edge-to-edge images and keep important text away from the cut.
