Printed Plastic Folders
Printed plastic folders organise meeting and training documents with covers and pockets. PP and PVC are different materials. How a folder bends, closes and is joined depends on the selected body material.
Applications
- Document handovers
- Corporate presentations
- Training documents
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Closed folder dimensions
- For A4 documents, start with 21 × 29.7 cm. If several documents will be carried together, also measure the stack thickness. A wider body is needed if page corners bend when the cover closes.
- Material and thickness
- Specify plastic type and sheet thickness together. Thickness may be expressed in microns or mm; PP and PVC of the same thickness can differ in flexibility and joining methods.
- Document volume and closure
- Plan interior dimensions, total document thickness, pockets and closure together. Calculate welding or bending allowances separately from usable document space.
- Should I choose a folder with a flap or an L folder?
- A printed plastic folder can carry a document set with covers and pockets. For access through open top and side edges, Plastic L Folders offer a different arrangement. Choose according to how documents will be inserted and removed.

Before printing
- Model and material
- A folder photograph or sample can be assessed with the document set. Confirm plastic type and thickness alongside the pocket and closure style.
- Unfolded drawing
- Identify inner and outer faces separately. Show printing, folds and joints on a full-size technical drawing, keeping important text away from joining areas.
