Sample Swatch Books
A sample card or book lets you compare colours and materials. Printed colours show appearance; real fabric or covering samples also show texture. Codes and ordering make each sample easy to find.
Applications
- Dealer sample sets
- Material collections
- Sales presentations
- Minimum order quantity
- 500 pieces
- Sample window and closed dimensions
- Fabric samples must be wide enough to reveal their pattern. Stack them to measure total thickness, which affects cover and binding selection. A complete swatch book with its samples counts as one set.
- Sample type
- A printed colour area cannot convey the texture of an actual fabric or coating sample. The presentation's purpose determines which type is needed.
- Code match
- Sample codes, printed names and order-list entries must agree. Check the sequence when updating a set.

Before printing
- Sample list
- Name each sample by product code. Specify display order and show the mounting allowance alongside sample dimensions.
- Attachment check
- Test how the book or fan opens. Check the sample area hidden by the attachment and the complete set's thickness.
Fan layouts make side-by-side comparisons easier, while book layouts offer a broad viewing area. Binding and page construction shape how customers experience the material texture.
Compare samples under their intended lighting for a more accurate assessment of colour harmony across materials. A swatch book brings colour references and physical samples together to support selection.
