Effects and Varnish Printing

Printing with Solvent-Based Inks

We select solvent-based inks suited to the surface when printing logos or technical markings on parts and panels. Plastic or metal type, existing coatings and operating conditions are considered. Colour and adhesion are checked on the actual part.

Applications

  • Lettering on industrial parts
  • Control panel printing
  • Product logo applications
Minimum order quantity
500 pieces
Colour sample on the part
Specify the part's dimensions and the area to receive colour separately. If printing the same logo on painted metal and plastic, compare colours at actual print size on both surfaces.
Material and coating
Part material and existing paint or coatings determine solvent-ink compatibility. Select the system using the actual part.
Colour and use
Print colour changes with the application surface. Assess placement, cleaning exposure and colour together on the same part.
Before printing
Plastic and paint compatibility
Select ink series and surface preparation for the exact plastic type. Testing the actual part verifies material and print compatibility.
Drying and end use
Follow drying and curing conditions in the ink system's technical data sheet to reach its intended properties. Make the final assessment after this process is complete.
